I have always been put off by some rescue goups attacks on those who choose to purchase dogs from a breeder vs adopt. Trying to pit one group of dog owners against another by shaming is not helpful to anyone. Regardless of breeder or rescue we need to help people understand that one of the most important decisions you make regarding your dog is the first decision of who you actually select. The better the fit, the more positive the experience and the less dogs surrendered. I love my dogs, but I sure wish I was better educated and knew about your services BEFORE I got my dogs.

I'd like to see every dog out of a bad situation, but I also believe that charity begins at home and I can't help but wonder if some of that rescue money would have not been better spent, by utilizing our dog training professionals to help those who have been in shelters too long or worse yet, returned. Is it not best to work from the inside out. Lets get it right and heal our own dog community first so then we can be examples for others. Lots of work to do.Marjoriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18223031730187915195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7123619179975663900.post-16319972644130085742013-02-19T16:58:47.055-08:002013-02-19T16:58:47.055-08:00Thank you for taking the courage and writing this ...Thank you for taking the courage and writing this great Blog.
